Derby Cathedral Charity Abseil

Last Saturday was beautiful and sunny and I had a nice day's work setting up and running a charity abseil for Rock & Ice on the top of Derby Cathedral. 25 people climbed the very narrow, stone spiral staircase (about 200 twisty stairs to the top!) and abseiled the 60m back down to the city centre, passing stone gargoyles and the large clock face on the way! A big well done to all for giving it a go and raising money for charity.

Amazing weather in the Peak District

Cat was working in the Peak District last week doing a range of outdoor activities with a group from the Princes Trust. The group was treated to some amazing weather with beautiful sunsets, clear skies and no midges...perfect! It definitely showed what a stunning location the Peak District is.

Adventure Expeditions is in business!

After a couple of months of planning and putting all the details in place, Adventure Expeditions is well under way to going 'live' on the web and launch a new programme for 2011. Today we finalised a logo with Hammer Design - our graphic and web design company who will be helping to set Adventure Expeditions on it's way. Can't wait!
